Throughout history various cultures have utilized the feet as a means of effecting the body and its health. Reflexology has been traced back in history to an engraving within a tomb in Egypt dated 2300 BC.
Reflexology is the study and practice of applying pressure techniques to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. This method serves to relax pressure sensors, to interrupt stress patters between various body parts, and to trigger a relaxation response throughout the body. There are over 7200 reflex points in each foot and hand that correspond to all glands, organs and other parts of the body.
